Very popular since its inception and now in its third year of limited edition release, the Seiko Prospex Black Series was originally inspired by the mysterious world of night diving. The lumibrite green coloring on the markers and hands is designed for increased visibility in the dark world of night seas, allowing you to clearly read the time in dark conditions. This shape of watch is nicknamed by Seiko fans a “Samurai” – due to its angular shaped design that appears to have been cut from a Japanese samurai sword. Prospex is a combination of the words "Professional" and "Specification". These watches are designed to be practical, reliable and durable in extreme or everyday environments, for experts, sports lovers and adventurers. Since launching the first dive watch in Japan in 1965, Seiko's innovative watchmaking has changed global standards for dive watches.
